In Words

DOMAI- Stephan Soll
When we look at the powerful unspoiled beauty of a nude, aren't we witnessing the very Source of our being? Aren't we in a way echoing the creation that comes from a noble Source? When we put on the "socially-accepted-prescribed-glasses" and attach our own generation-fed prejudices, aren't we distorting that perfect vision? Is there an ugly truth about beauty?
This site was conceived with a few, simple, objectives in mind; to present the viewer with the beautiful nature that surrounds us, sometimes hidden from view but yet, still there, registering in our subconscious.
Also, to bring forth the ugly reality that spoils that beauty. Breast cancer is the hidden beast that stalks and sometimes triumph over beauty. Finally, to try and point out that we all have a responsibility to contribute and preserve those things we treasure and give us life. Literally.
I have been accused or criticized of having an "agenda" for creating this site. I'm not here to please everyone, nor I intent to. If anyone has a problem with the presentation of this content or imagery, it is their problem to solve.
Perhaps the over use of certain words and ideas may cause some to think, that a fixation or obsession is evident; but after all, isn't that what we call passion?
Q'bella.com is not, nor intends to be an authority on the subject of breast cancer; it's only a reminder that those women we all love are in real danger.
The images presented here are nothing more than a small tribute to what I considered to be the most delightful sight in creation. Women.
This is a beauty appreciation site.
I welcome with open arms, those who share the same passion as I do. Those who love women, breasts, beauty and would like to preserved them and salute them.

Sex & Religion

Sex & Religion — by Rock Starr
Now, those are two words that contradict each other. I come from a strict religious family. My father served in positions of authority within our church throughout my youth and continued such service for many years thereafter. Our church is one of several Christian faiths that would be considered ultra-conservative. Stated another way: Puritan. Now, I personally have nothing against tradition. Lord knows I love the Christmas holiday, but the commercialization of Christmas has always saddened me. Why can’t we get all gung-ho about Independence Day, and celebrate our freedom in a like manner? But, that’s another topic for another day.
Let me dip back into my history a bit, specifically where my religion and sex is concerned and how my faith caused such a tremendous amount of guilt, that I would suffer from manic depression for over a quarter century. Ultimately, it was God Himself that carried me to where I am today, and I have never been happier in all of my life. It’s a wonderful feeling that I longed to feel for decades, and it was worth struggling for.
First, I am a Mormon. I have long hair. I tend to swear to or at myself on the job, especially when I do something wrong, stupid, or hurt myself. I am a tradesman. I have attended the Mormon church all of my life. I spent two years of my life preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone who would listen. As a missionary, sexual stimulation of any kind is strictly forbidden. Imagine going two years without jerking off! Well, I never quite got over that particular pleasure. In fact, some of the most erotic images I have ever seen were witnessed while on my mission. I still remember them to this day.
It was in Germany, circa 1980, that I saw a picture of a woman’s breast on the cover of a popular weekly magazine at the kiosk. The breast was decorated as an ice cream sundae with a cherry on top. Chocolate syrup dripped down from her nipple over her breast. Whipped cream was tastefully topped upon her nipple, to which the cherry was placed. Erotic and sensual, I remember loving that picture and wanting to take it home for its eroticism and artistic quality. I loved it!
The second image was a television commercial in Switzerland for a shower product called “Dusch’ das!” That pretty much translates to “Shower that!” The camera slowly panned over a naked woman’s body taking a shower. Nothing but the pubic region was left unexposed. And of course, the model had nice, perky breasts.
The third image was during the afternoon. The lady we were teaching was preparing dinner for us. Her eight year-old daughter was watching after school television. Some black and white show western show was on. The next thing I saw was a woman dancing on stage in front of a bunch of rowdy cowboys. She began to strip. She got naked all the way, nothing left unexposed. What I noticed more than that was the eight year-old’s gaze. The image and show content didn't even faze her. And mom didn't care. You see, this is normal television in Europe. Nudity is not considered a bad thing.
Religion has a necessity to control its believers in order to maintain power and authority over them. The Ten Commandments were given to Moses because the Israelites were not able to maintain a higher law. They quickly fell into lasciviousness, idolatry, and perversions. Therefore, the Lord gave Moses the Ten Commandments so that the Israelites would have simple, specific laws to know and follow. If they could do this, they were promised eternal life.
It is true that without order there would be chaos. We all know that chaos is destructive. Therefore, I personally have nothing against religions establishing rules of conduct for its parishioners. The religion has to maintain the balance of belief. Now, I can only speak for Christianity, because that is all I know. What I do know, is that when Christ came, he preached a higher law that superceded and for all intents and purposes did away with the Mosaic law. What was that higher law? Simply put, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” That “higher law” is even simpler than the Mosaic law. The majority of mankind wants to be given specifics as to what they can or cannot do. Simply, they want to be ruled. And with rules, we prevent chaos.
Now, I will flat out say that adultery is wrong. It does nothing but hurt all of those it touches. No good can come from it. Fornication is not much different, but the ramifications are significantly less hurtful and traumatic. As for masturbation, when it becomes an addiction that uses up a great portion of your daily activity, thereby prohibiting you from accomplishing any good in the world, then it becomes a problem. Otherwise, it is a great personal physical and emotional release that is much needed in the stressful world we live in. Why do you think some massage therapists provide sexual release? Because after a full body massage, the final and ultimate relaxation and release of stress is the orgasm. It is an emotional, spiritual, and physical experience that is the ultimate human experience.
Religions around the world have established rules “from God” that prohibit the above-mentioned sexual activities. In doing this, they instill a feeling of guilt within the believer. In order to get rid of this guilt, the believer must not only seek forgiveness from God, but also the church and anyone who has been hurt by the believer’s actions. As part of the repentance process, the believer must also pay a tithing to the church. The tithing offers “protection” from being burned at the Lord’s Second Coming. And other promises are made as well. Religion amounts to nothing more than brainwashing. I am not against religion. I believe wholeheartedly in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe God exists. But, without guilt, churches would not exist. There would be no need for the church. Church is for the sinners. Those who don’t sin don’t need a church. They are already close to God, and church won’t get them any closer.
Remember, Christ taught that we should do to others what we would like them to do to us. It’s as simple as that. It is religionists and puritans who make it complicated. They, themselves, can’t even bring themselves to do away with the Mosaic law and simply preach the Golden Rule. I haven’t heard the Golden Rule preached in my church for years. I’m sure it has been somewhere, but those sermons are few and far between.
Puritans fear sex. They are afraid of its power over them. They are ashamed of their bodies. They are afraid to experiment and explore their bodies’ abilities and erogenous zones to the fullest extent. We hear over and over again from professionals that the most successful marriages have a great sex life. Now, the couple may only be interested in man-on-top sex. If that’s all they want, and that makes them happy, then more power to them. My two marriages failed in large part because neither woman wanted to be touched between the legs. They preferred to lie there and do nothing. Being a very passionate man, this did absolutely nothing for me. I craved variety. I wanted to explore. I wanted toys and porn movies and everything that could possibly stimulate. Gawd, was I bored. Needless to say, masturbation and porn mags were the order of the day.
And who was punished by my religion? Not the wife who wouldn’t please her husband, but the man who had to get his stimulation elsewhere to keep from going bonkers. (Note: The New Testament frowns heavily upon the wife who doesn’t take care of her husband sexually. Perhaps the apostles were trying to tell us something there.) Actually, it’s easy to see. If a woman takes care of her man sexually, he will have no desire to stray or go elsewhere for his sexual fulfillment. And this is something the churches will not touch upon in sermons or even Sunday School classes. So, who is the sinner here? Should it not be the person or institution that fails to instruct the followers pursuant to that which is plainly instructed in the Bible? If we are not instructed properly as followers, then we are not to be held accountable for what would be considered a sin by any other means. Since I see this and understand this, then I will be held accountable, regardless of whether or not my church has properly instructed me in this matter. But, my former wives will be held accountable at the Judgment Day, at least to the degree they understand this, because they were not willing to reach out beyond their comfort zone and give more than they normally would want to in order to give me the level of sexual happiness I needed. I would never have gotten divorced from my first wife if she hadn’t been a beached whale in bed.
I hope this rather lengthy article has opened up new doors of thought for many of you. And for those of you who are followers of Jesus Christ, I hope you will have encountered a new beginning of thought that will lead your present and future relationships in a more meaningful, positive, and fulfilling direction. Next time, we will explore this issue more, perhaps delving into the world of pornography and its affect on society and the individual. I welcome any responses from the readers and suggestions for further discussion concerning sex and religion that is of interest to you.

Article of The Day
And it happened again!
In Vermont of all places, a mother gets kicked off a Freedom Airlines flight, operated by Mesa Airlines and contracted by Delta Airlines, for daring to breast-feed in public
Apparently she exposed an, oh my God, a breast and decided to feed her infant. At that point a "helpful" stewardess decided that the offensive sight was too much to "bare" and proceeded to take action and eventually kicked the mother out of the aircraft.
I'm sure the rest of the passengers must have felt a sigh of relief, seeing that "criminal" humiliated and off their lives.
Man, what are we doing to ourselves?
Once again, I'm reassured that political correctness is the a pervasive factor in our society. When a mother cannot perform the most natural of all functions, it is time to re evaluate what we think and who we vote for.
In the mean time. All across this great nation, many nursing mothers are staging"Nurse-Ins" in protest and support for nursing Emily Gillette of Santa Fe.
Go Moms - More power to the breast!!!!

The leaders of the Republican and Democratic committees in Warminster are calling for the resignation of GOP Supervisor Fred Gold, who sent an e-mail with a photo of a topless woman promoting Jan. 15 as "Breast Appreciation Day."
The e-mail that accompanied the photo asked, "Beats ... Martin Luther King Day, doesn't it?"
Democratic chairman Joseph Bowes Jr. and Republican chairman Jim Messina described the e-mail as insulting to women and blacks.
"It embarrassed the party. It embarrassed me," Messina said.
Bowes called it "offensive on many levels."
Gold sent the e-mail from his personal account, and apologized if anyone who received or saw it was offended.
"I certainly don't think I did anything immoral or unethical," he said. "To resign because of this, I don't think so."
Have we gone nuts all together?!
To ask some to resign because a few uptight self righteous individuals are "offended" by the mere sight of breasts is simply retrograde. In my humble view, that is where the obscenity really lies.
